Ablation Treatment for Abnormal Heart Rhythm

Tim had ablation treatment for his abnormal heart rhythm and then several months later a pacemaker was inserted. He writes:

Initially I wasn’t experiencing any symptoms. My arrhythmia was identified during a routine health check performed by my employer. This then led to my assessment by another consultant. It was decided that I should undergo cardioversion to see if this would correct the arrhythmia. Although I achieved sinus rhythm, soon after the procedure I experienced some dizziness and nauseas so went back to see the consultant. I have a long history of heart disease going back to 1983. There was also a family history. I have been diagnosed with ischemic heart disease, hypertension and unstable angina. I have had a number of very distressing and debilitating attacks. They have affected by lifestyle significantly. My last episode in Sept 2011 resulted in yet another admission to hospital.
